Sandi Thigpen Biography

Hi, my name is Sandi Thigpen and I specialize in helping buyers and sellers invest in real estate in the southeastern Virginia area including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, and the surrounding areas. 

I love real estate and consider it one of my passions. My team & I have collectively over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry.  I am honest, trustworthy, and dependable and am the REALTOR® to call to help you with your real estate needs. I have created a “60 Minute Call Back” policy which has helped to create a firm relationship with my clients.  My goal is to not just create a business transaction with my clients, but to create a relationship as well.

I earned an Associate Degree in General Studies/Accounting. I am a member (in good standing) of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association (HRRA), the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

I have been married for 40+ years and have four children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.  My husband and I settled down in Suffolk, VA, after extensively traveling with the US Army for 24 years.  We have a great church family at Kingdom Life Ministries, a continuously-growing multicultural worship center.  I also have a lifelong “love affair” with the military having served as an “Army brat” as well as an Army wife over a period of 50 plus years.
